go with the flow
well well well its 3.37 p.m as i'm posting this and i just realised its been 12 hrs since i just got home.
why?i went to Flow at MoS yesterday.but technically i was out arnd 4 cos i went to play pool with harrison, ham, ronald, aloy, glen, lihao and bryan before bryan and harrison went to watch the sjc play.
so we went to MoS first since we knew it would take quite a while to get in but it was surprisingly quick.lihao couldn't get in cos he was 15 but im damn sure there were many 15 year olds in there.so aloy, ham, glen and i went in first and we managed to wach tien perform.they were not too bad but their music was a little more like pop-rock due to the beat.but overall tien was a nice band and their songs were easy on the ears.
seraph played after them and they weren't that great.they started off with gazette's cassis followed by originals of their own.they were the only non-english playing band but the band overall was quite ok.the vocalist,on the other hand, wasn't very good.i think seraph would be better off without him.aloy and i got bored rather easily.
highlight of the night: WEST GRAND BOULEVARD!
no shit WGB was one of the best received bands that night.daphne sang quite a few songs inc. the funk song, waiting for you, flights of fancy.
but lo and behold, bryan gamboa is back!wooooooo.now we will was sung and i'm telling you, WGB was off the hook.absolutely fantastic.
sadly, ronald waited for lihao outside and managed to come in only after WGB had played.and the biggest fan of them all among us,harrison, wasn;t even near MoS when they played.
ok to cut thing short, the bands playing there were great.plain sunset rocked.so did devine9.and loads of us were there.avery, bong, joey, kenneth, leslie, lynn, holly and the few of us.not sure how chloe and some other 15 year olds got in though.
throughly enjoyed myself last night and im sure others may blog more on Flow so go check their's out.
cheerio.
